In some small projects to migrate emails, calendar and contacts from Google (Gmail) to Microsoft Outlook we may want to do it manually, without tools.
These are the steps we must follow:
MAIL (evaluate if it is necessary to create profiles in Outlook):
- Configure Gmail account to Outlook
- Export data to a PST file
- Set up Microsoft account in Outlook
- Import PST file
CONTACTS:
- Log in to Gmail (web) and export contacts (Outlook format CSV)
- Log into Outlook (web) and import the CSV contacts.
CALENDAR:
- Log in to Gmail (web) and export the calendar in ICS
- Enter the desktop Outlook and import the ICS.
